During the ancient times when the Polynesians were exploring the South Pacific with large canoes, they did so without the aid of any mechanical instruments, like a sextant. They relied on a knowledgeable and wise person, who navigated the canoe. This person was trained from birth to read celestial and terrestrial markings. Using these skills, the Polynesians navigated, explored, and populated the southern seas. This person was known as the Wayfinder.

The sphere on our logo represents the earth, as well as a single grain of proppant. The segments within the logo’s sphere represent the sails of the ancient Polynesians’ canoes, and the logo’s turquoise colour reminds of the warm tropical waters the Polynesians navigated.
